Family Solution Program
The Family Solutions Program (FSP) works with the family/individual one-on-one to find the best community resources for their needs. This provides an advocate who works on their behalf in finding solutions to unique issues. A-RESET Workforce Careers Program
The workforce program works directly with SNAP and TANF eligible recipients to identify and overcome employment barriers. Program participants gain access to opportunities to improve skills for career growth. For more information call 256-230-0880 or Email:

Family Ramp Program
Our wheelchair ramp program helps us provide higher quality of life to local senior and homebound residents. It helps them live more independently in their home. It ensures home safety and allows first responders access in case of emergency. The program is designed to assist residents with low or fixed incomes. For more information Email:

Bullying Prevention Program
This program will teach effective solutions on how to respond to all forms of bullying as well as how to address respect for human differences. We will do this by promoting tolerance and acceptance of others. For more information Email:

Visiting Agencies
Crisis Service of North Alabama (CSNA) offers comprehensive crisis intervention and prevention services. Services include: HELPline, Rape Response, Domestic Violence Court Advocacy, HOPE Place Shelter, Education & Training, and Referrals. (256-230-1240)
Launch Youth Services mission is to increase the number of prepared, qualified youth entering the workforce through professional counseling and career guidance. Launch is designed to serve all out-of-school youth between the ages of 16 and 24. (256-867-5329)
Alabama Career Center Systems offers consultation to anyone who needs employment, resume preparation, and job search assistance. Call FRC to schedule an appointment.
Express Employment offers a full range of employment solutions: full-time, temporary, and part-time positions from light industrial to office services. They match job openings to people looking for employment (256-998-5329)
Kids and Kin Program provides educational resources for those who provide childcare for a relative’s child (i.e. grandparents, aunts, uncles, brothers or sisters). Offered free through Family Guidance Center of Alabama. (256-724-2554)
Volunteer Programs
Financial Counseling assists families in making a budget and works to resolve debt, thus creating a better future. Call FRC to schedule an individual appointment or sign up for group classes.
Pastoral Counseling offers both family and individual counseling. Call FRC to discuss details for scheduling an appointment.
We welcome volunteers of all ages to get involved at FRC. Opportunities range from clerical and janitorial to donation organization and tutoring. We are open to innovative ideas that might help us in our effort to make a positive difference for the lives of those in our community. We encourage you to give of your time at FRC; you will find the rewards are priceless!
Various Health and Job Fairs, Self-Help Studies, and Professional Development seminars are held on a regular basis.

DONATIONS
FRC accepts donations of all kinds be it monetary, services, office supplies, clothing, household, and/or electronics. Tax-Deductible forms provided.
Please limit to 3 bags/boxes per drop off. Requested drop off days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
The Shepherd’s Closet clothing and household donation area is available every Tuesday and Thursday from 9 to 11:30 free of charge to residents.
