Today, we’re celebrating the people who #GiveLikeDolly.
To everyone who has donated, volunteered, spread the word, partnered with us or simply believes every child should have books of their own: thank you. Thank you for helping us carry on Dolly`s legacy by giving back to the children of Limestone County.
Right here in Limestone County, roughly 3,500 children receive a free book every month through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
On September 25, Give Like Dolly Day, you can help us continue reaching children and families in Limestone County. Every donation helps us continue building a community where children can grow up surrounded by the joy of books and reading.
We have a goal that we’d like to reach by October 9th. It’s a big ask, but we need help keeping Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library available in Limestone County. Since August 25, more than 300 children have registered for the Imagination Library. This rapid growth has exceeded the funding currently available for the program, and we need YOUR help to ensure these children can receive books each month. Our goal is to reach 925 donors by October 25. That gives us a month.
In honor of 9/25, please consider one of the following donation options:
$9.25 monthly
$19.25 monthly
$92.50 one time donation

We want to say a big thank you to @llbcathens for welcoming us this past Sunday and allowing us to be part of your Women’s Conference!
We truly enjoyed being there and having the opportunity to share more about the work we do at the Athens-Limestone County Family Resource Center. We are especially grateful for your generosity in collecting donations for our center. It means so much to have our community come alongside us and support the families we serve.
Thank you, Lindsay Lane, for opening your doors to us and for your kindness and generosity. We appreciate you all so much! ❤️
